Executive Chef

 

Born and raised in Orange County, California, Chef Steve Faust was lured into the culinary world when his passion for this industry and for food was recognized at age fifteen. Steve went on to study the culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, California, where he learned to develop his own unique style and flair. Steve graduated with high honors at the top of his class. He continued with his career at exclusive restaurants and hotels such as Trattoria Tre Venezie, Nic’s and The Martini Lounge and the Peninsula Beverly Hills Hotel.

 

Chef Steve began motion picture catering in 2001. He has worked on over 90 television, feature film and commercial productions. He prides himself on developing a menu that accommodates the palates of a diverse cast and crew.

 

Steve's culinary philosophy and passion reflects the growing trend towards a healthier and down-to-earth lifestyle. He enjoys incorporating many of the culinary creations he has come across in his many travels into his own menus.

 

In addition to cooking, Steve’s passion is to encourage younger chefs to discover their own talents in the same way that he was encouraged. Be it through motivational speaking engagements at his alma mater, or conducting cooking classes. Chef Steve believes whole-heartedly in staying active, continuously learning and always having fun.
