2008: Post Hurricane Gustav, Hanna Brothers was hired as a contractor to provide 3 hot meals per day to the Power company's restoration employees, at the locations listed below simultaneously:

Thibodaux, LA - 1,670 people

Cut Off, LA - 1,200 people

Houma, LA - 1,300 people

Port Arthur, LA - 2,000 people

2005 : Post Hurricane Katrina and Rita, Hanna Brothers provided 3 hot meals per day for the Louisiana National Guard at a site which housed 1,500 soldiers in Lafayette, LA.

2005 : Hanna Brothers provided 875,000 non-perishable box meals to the citizens of Louisiana under a contract with FEMA, over the course of two weeks, post Hurricane Rita.

RESPONCE TIME : At Hanna Brothers we are able to respond quickly because of the following:

• Assets: We own the catering equipment

  Trained Employees on Hand: We have employees providing on-location catering, day in and day out, year round to the Film Industry. Hence, we don't have a massive influx of untrained individuals coming to work for our company for the first time. All of the key positions are staffed by our full time chefs and project managers.

• Equipment Maintenance: Our kitchens are maintained on a regular basis, because we use them year round. Many of our competitors only use their equipment when a disaster strikes, and it can be years between uses and if they don't keep up with their equipment, this can delay their response time drastically.

• Vendor Relationships: The bulk of our work is done in the South Eastern United States along the Gulf Coast, and because of that we already have accounts set-up with food purveyors in many of the areas which are more likely to see a disaster. This takes a great deal of the "set-up" work out of the equation and we can concentrate on cooking instead of "red-tape."

QUALIFIED AND TRAINED EMPLOYEES : One of our greatest assets is our personnel.

• Serv-Safe Certified: All of our chefs are Serv-Safe Certified. Completing the Serv-Safe course means our chefs have passed a course related to the proper handling of food for human consumption.
• Year round development: Our employees are working year round, every year, on Film Productions and that means they are very familiar with off-site catering and Production work, which requires feeding large numbers of people, under time constraints and delivering a superior product while doing so. We know our personnel will deliver when they are asked to.
• In house mechanic: Anyone that is familiar with mobile equipment knows that, every time you move a piece of equipment something can fail. At Hanna Brothers we employee a Fleet Manager and a mechanic to make sure when something does fail, that we can get it working in the shortest amount of time possible.
